Kayaking The Colorado River
As you all know, the Colorado River runs through the Grand Canyon and it’s probably ‘the’ kayaking trip that’s on more ‘bucket lists’ than any other.
Here is a one minute look at some kayakers paddling down the river courtesy of the Grand Canyon National Park. If you haven’t had the chance to kayak the great river and take in these breathtaking views in person, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the video.
The Colorado River is 1,450 miles long and features flat water sections as well as whitewater. It’s considered to be endangered due to the heavy draw of water that’s taken from it to supply residents of the Southwestern US. It is a magnificent river and truly one of the great natural wonders in the world.
