So today is Black Friday, featuring way too early shopping hours and way to large crowds of bargain hunters. This coming Monday is Cyber Monday, something online retailers invented to hype up their sales. I can’t say I get too excited about either one although I did check out the video from WalletPop that tells us how Black Friday got it’s name.

Sure, I have participated in past years by waking up early and picking up some bargains and I probably will again when I need a new computer or digital camera. Seems like tech bargains are the best deals every year or maybe that’s just because guys like me are more attracted to that type of product. But I’m sleeping in today because there’s nothing pressing on my shopping list. And if the weather in our area wasn’t so darn cold, I’d go out for a paddle in my inflatable kayak. Yup, I’d rather be kayaking!
